The opportunity An chance exists for an experienced
Electrical Maintenance Supervisor
to lead a team of Technicians in maintaining site assets to the highest operational standards. You will apply strong technical knowledge and leadership skills to optimise equipment performance, ensure reliability, and drive continuous improvement in maintenance efficiency and plant output.
This position operates on an
8 days on and 6 days off / 7 nights on and 7 days off
roster flying out from Perth or DIDO from Geraldton.
To be successful in the role, the following is essential:
Electrical Instrumentation Ticket.
Strong supervision experience leading a team.
Proven experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance within mining and mineral processing environment.
Sound knowledge of maintenance management, strategy development and implementation.
Demonstrated ability to develop, plan and execute maintenance activities in a deadline driven environment.
Key Duties include (but are not limited to):
Supervise and coordinate electrical maintenance activities to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality execution of all tasks.
Lead a team of trades personnel to deliver planned and reactive maintenance in line with site schedules and priorities.
Manage daily work allocation, resource use, and equipment readiness through effective planning and SAP work management.
Conduct fault finding, root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventative actions to improve equipment reliability.
Oversee shutdown and outage works, ensuring compliance with WHS, site standards, and maintenance procedures.

About Karara Mining Located 200 km south‑east of Geraldton in the Shire of Perenjori, Western Australia Karara has an expected mine life of 30+ years. The operation includes a large open pit mine, complex ore processing and beneficiation plant and significant infrastructure and logistics networks. As part of the logistics network Karara owns and operates 80 km of railway between Tilley Junction and the Karara mine site, linking the Karara Export Terminal at the Port of Geraldton, able to handle up to 16 Mtpa of export product from a dedicated berth, with associated rail and train unloading infrastructure.
