About the Role
Our Trade Centres operate differently from retail sites, providing a delivery and pick‐up solution for key building lines and delivering bulk quantities of materials to building sites. We partner with commercial customers, helping them manage their projects with a 'whole of build' solution. As a Forklift Operator you will play an essential role in the efficient operation of the Trade Centre by ensuring the smooth movement of stock, products, and materials.
Responsibilities
* Safely operate a forklift to load, unload and transport goods within the Trade Centre
* Organise and maintain stock, ensuring products are easily accessible
* Assist in keeping accurate inventory records and in stock control
* Ensure safe and efficient storage of goods, maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment
* Assist with stock takes and report discrepancies when necessary
* Collaborate with the team to fulfil customer orders quickly and accurately
* Adhere to all safety protocols and operational procedures to maintain a safe work environment
* Assist with customer service as required, including loading customer vehicles
Qualifications
* Current valid forklift licence
* Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or trade‐centre environment (preferred)
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work efficiently in a busy and fast‐paced environment
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Positive, can‐do attitude and a focus on safety

Flexible hours Monday–Friday.
