About the Opportunity
Join our highly respected National Ecology team We are expanding and seeking a mid-level Ecologist for our Brisbane office. The ideal candidate will have experience in ecological consulting with developing skills in surveys, reporting, and assessments. We seek passionate individuals committed to delivering high-quality outcomes. About You
Tertiary qualifications in environmental science, botany, zoology or environmental science
4+ years relevant experience
A high level of motivation and self-direction with a willingness to travel and work flexible hours
Demonstrated experience in planning, coordinating, and undertaking flora surveys in Queensland or nationally
Plant identification and vegetation mapping experience from Queensland or nationally
An ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with a range of stakeholders including, and not limited to, clients, government agencies and fellow team members
Demonstrated experience in the collection and interpretation of ecological and spatial data
Strong verbal and written communication skills including prior experience in assisting with the preparation of reports
Prior experience and/or knowledge of Queensland and Commonwealth environmental legislation is highly regarded
