Anglicare Southern Queensland's Home and Community service offers a range of support and assistance to enable our older population to live their best lives in their own homes.
This full-time opportunity is for a Team Leader to join our Cleveland Home and Community Service. The hourly rate for this role will range between $42.15-44.24.
Please note that this is a role based out of Cleveland for 38 hrs/week.
It will be a 3-shift rotation between 6am-5pm. There is capacity for hybrid WFH on a 3-shift rotation, i.e., the middle shift can work from home with necessary approvals. This is all negotiable once sufficient experience to work autonomously has been achieved.
About the role:
The Team Leader will support the delivery of community services to an assigned group of clients and will assist in the facilitation and monitoring of individualised care plans which meet the needs of clients as delegated.
The Team Leader will also supervise Home Care Workers and Support Services Workers on a day-to-day basis, assists with the orientation of new staff and provides guidance and support, including assessment of work practices, client documentation and other related activities, as delegated.
About you:
* Previous experience in a senior care worker or supervisory role with experience in facilitating nonclinical community-based services (preferred)
* Ability to lead, manage, train and mentor team members
* Ability to assist with planning and managing client care
* Possess highly developed interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively, respectfully and collegially in team environment.
* Demonstrated time management skills and ability to multi-skill work duties to maximise productivity
* Sound interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and an intermediate level of computer skills.
* Valid Aged Care Worker Screening Check: o Current National Police Check OR o Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance. NB: NDIS Worker Screening Clearance is mandatory for Services/Facilities delivering services to NDIS clients. o Statutory Declaration if you have been a citizen or permanent resident of a country other than Australia after turning 16.
* Current Drivers Licence and own reliable vehicle
* Certificate IV in Home and Community Care or equivalent
* Current First Aid and CPR Certification
