A role has become available for a highly organised and efficient Procurement Administrator to join our APAC Procurement Team. This is a 15-month Maternity Leave Contract role.
Reporting to the General Manager Supply Chain and Procurement Asia Pacific, you will be responsible for providing timely support services to the Branch Network.
Responsibilities & Duties
* Liaise directly with Branches to own, and provide support during, the process of gathering and completion of required procurement documentation.
* Track and manage all open procurement requests, including their status and projected completion timeline, and communicate these to the Branch Network weekly.
* Review current vendor/supplier contracts for opportunities to increase value, reduce costs, and to seek overall areas for improvement.
* Review processes to ensure any invoice queries forwarded by the Accounts Payable Team are dealt with in a timely manner, and purchase orders are aligned to the most cost-effective source of supply.
* Proactively demonstrate safe working practices by identifying hazards, using Personal Protective Equipment provided, and coordinating resources to meet the Company's Work Health and Safety requirements.
Skills & Experience
* Highly motivated with excellent time management.
* Experience in logistics, working knowledge of warehouse, receiving and shipping functions.
* Excellent in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel.
* Resourceful and able to work independently.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills.
