With our upcoming pipeline of Landmark work across the country Land Surveys has a rare opportunity for a Geospatial Specialist to come on-board and #JOINTHETEAM. Perth based will be considered.
The Geospatial Surveyor will be working with our current geospatial team in Perth to plan, execute and deliver geospatial projects using an array of reality capture tools, systems and software. This technical role involves working as a member of a wider team to deliver bespoke geospatial products and solutions.
**About you**:
To be considered for the role, you will need to have the following qualifications and experience:
Essential
- Qualification in surveying, geospatial sciences or a related spatial field
- Proven experience with TLS capture, registration, processing, and feature extraction
- Experience using survey grade GNSS and total station equipment for survey control establishment
- Experience with pointcloud-based feature extraction and 3d Modelling
Desirable
- Experience with mobile laser scanning (MLS), capture and processing
- Experience with Leica and Riegl Terrestrial Laser Scanners
- Experience with Leica Cyclone
- Experience with Bentley Microstation and TopoDOT
- Qualified UAV pilot (RePL)
**About the Role**
**Perth-based position**:
The successful applicant will be joining our well established geospatial team in Melbourne. He/she will be expected to assist with
- Geospatial field surveys using a variety of tools including TLS, MLS, Totalstation and UAV’s.
- Point cloud, photo, mesh and model processing and manipulation including registration, cleaning, classification, transformation, merging with other datasets and format-conversions.
- Feature extraction and 3d-modelling
- Preparation of final deliverables and marketing material
- Participating in development to refine existing workflows, improve and expand our service
- General feature, control, monitoring and construction surveys using GPS and Totalstations as and when the need arise
**Brisbane-based position**:
This position will be a joint survey and geospatial position. The successful applicant will be joining our national geospatial team and will be pivotal in expanding our geospatial services in Queensland, whilst performing general survey duties to balance the geospatial workload. He/she will be expected to assist with
- General feature, control, monitoring and construction surveys using GPS and Totalstations
- Geospatial field surveys using a variety of tools including TLS, MLS, Totalstation and UAV’s.
- Point cloud processing and registration
- Potentially assist with feature extraction and 3d-modelling
- Preparation of final deliverables and marketing material
- Participating in development to refine existing workflows, improve and expand our services
