Our client, a very large Federal Government Organisation, whose focus is on national security, emergency management, boarder control, immigration and multicultural affairs, require the services of Senior Java Fullstack API Engineer.
Duties of a Senior Java Fullstack API Engineer
The Specified Personnel will be responsible for providing the following deliverables including but not limited to:
* Perform a major role in the development of business applications using a variety of programming languages & application development tools;
* Formulate & developing specialised & technical solutions for maintenance tasks & enhancements;
* Performing troubleshooting of incidents or problems reported in the production environment & preparing fixes for implementation including System Integration & UAT;
* Performing technical verification tests for relevant services & upgrades provided by other teams/sections;
* Working under SAFe/Scrum framework adhering to scrum theory, practice and guidelines & contributing to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices.
Skills and Experience Required
* Demonstrated experience delivering application development using NodeJS, TypeScript/JavaScript, Angular, React, JEE/Java, Restful API, Postman/Thunder Client, PostgreSQL/pgAdmin, Pulumi & AWS SDK;
* Experience in continuous integration using Azure DevOps, SonarQube, Junit and Mockito;
* Experience with Amazon Web Services (VPCs and networking, Lambda, EC2, ECR, ECS, CloudFront, API Gateway, RDS, KMS, MSK, S3, SES, SNS);
* Experience with Open API (Swagger);
* Knowledge of Data encryption, cryptography principles (PKI, X.509 certificates, TLS);
* Understanding of IP networking (tracing, configuration, whitelisting, general security); and
* Working experience with IBM Websphere, Apache Kafka.
