Role Overview
As a Back of House Supervisor, you support the Store Manager to ensure the store's success, playing a pivotal role in delivering great customer experiences from the stock room to the selling floor. You will work with the Store Manager to ensure smooth and efficient inventory management processes, including processing deliveries, managing stock movement, and minimising stock loss.
You action all operational and administrative tasks in line with JD standards, taking direction from the store management team on prioritisation of back of house activities. You coach and train Back of House Team Members in store loss prevention, inventory management and stock movement policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide direction to the Back of House team around daily priorities for stock to floor, delivery processing and replenishment activities.
* Plan and manage stock deliveries.
* Ensure that maximum stock availability is achieved through effective management of replenishment systems and stock loss management activities.
* Ensure Back of House standards are maintained in line with company expectations.
* Optimize the back of house layout for easiest stock access and placement of bestselling brands, classes, and styles.
* Provide feedback to team members to encourage, improve or enhance their performance.
Qualifications
* 1‐2 years of experience in a similar position within retail or a similar industry.
* Experience working in a Back of House or Warehouse environment is favourable, but not essential.
* Team management or supervisory experience preferred.
* Maintains a positive can‐do attitude.
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Excel, Word, etc.
* Strong operational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
* Thrives in a fast‐paced, ever‐changing environment.
* Openly shares knowledge with the wider team to achieve common goals.
* Ability to enthusiastically look at a challenge as an opportunity to develop yourself, your career, and learn new skills.
