We are seeking a reliable and driven Logistics Officer to support Rio Tinto operations on site at Hope Downs 1. This is a hands‐on, FIFO role within a small warehouse environment, suited to someone with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. The assignment is 6 months with ongoing potential.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Delivering pallets and parcels across site locations
* Loading and unloading trucks using a forklift
* Operating hand‐held scanners for inventory and deliveries
* Managing goods within a small, dusty warehouse environment
* Providing professional customer service when dealing with site personnel during deliveries
* Supporting general warehouse and logistics operations as required
Ideal Candidate
* Strong "go‐getter" mentality with willingness to do physical, hands‐on work
* Comfortable working in a dusty site and warehouse environment
* Positive attitude, good sense of humour, and able to fit into a close-knit crew
* Reliable and team‐oriented—role includes Christmas roster coverage
Tickets / Qualifications / Licences
* HR‐A Licence (essential)
* Current Forklift Licence with proven experience
* SAP experience or solid computer and scanner skills
