We are currently seeking an efficient and professional Food Services Assistant to join our Food Services Team at our Moran Engadine home, nested in a family oriented suburb in southern Sydney.
You will work with driven and diverse people in modern facilities where you will be enabled to develop your skills.
You will work with a great team of dedicated people and your contribution will make a difference to our residents' enjoyment of their life every day. Moran offers a rewarding work environment consisting of modern facilities and equipment.
We are looking for a motivated individual with availability to work afternoons.
Key Duties
* Plating food at mealtimes
* Preparing food under the direction of Chef
* Keeping your assigned work area clean ready for handover to the next shift
* Restocking supplies and receive goods
* Recording temperatures, complete checklists
* Maintaining personal hygiene standards
* Working as a member of the Food Services teams
Skills and Requirements
* Interested in food, nutrition, or general well-being and their benefits
* Interested in working as part of a team in a kitchen environment
* A person who takes pride in what they do
* Food Safety or Food Handling Certificate highly desirable
* Must have a valid work permit and a current police check
