About the role
Case Worker – Doorways This permanent part‐time position (22.8 hours per week) based in Bairnsdale, VIC supports community members to identify their goals and access resources through high‐quality case management, community collaboration, and early intervention strategies.
Conditions & Compensation
Compensation is in accordance with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award (SCHADS) Level 4.
How you will make an impact
* Collaborate with Church Officers, volunteers, and Mission Leaders to deliver an integrated Doorways model.
* Conduct case management through assessments, goal planning, and strength‐based interventions tailored to community needs.
* Provide early intervention support to people experiencing financial hardship, disadvantage or generational poverty.
* Advocate and refer community members to additional services, supports, and community networks.
* Maintain accurate records, perform SAMIS data entry, and ensure compliance with TSA policies and the Doorways Model of Care.
What you will bring
* A tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Community Services, or a related discipline (highly desirable) or a Diploma with 2+ years of relevant experience.
* Demonstrated experience in community services, case management or support work.
* Strong ability to build relationships with community members, volunteers and local stakeholders.
* Understanding of financial hardship, disadvantage, and early intervention approaches.
* Capability to work collaboratively across multi‐site environments when required.
* A current Working With Children Check.
