Our mobile patient transport service primarily operates in Victoria and New South Wales. We work with a large fleet of ambulances and support our transport services with aircraft.
We provide clinical care for people travelling from home to hospital, hospital to hospital and hospital to home, as well as transport to and from specialist clinics.
Role Overview
We are currently seeking applications from experienced ambulance attendants and paramedics in Morwell. Our team pride themselves on delivering high-quality patient care and treatment during on-road transport of patients with a wide variety of medical conditions. Key Responsibilities of the Role
* Perform patient assessments and interventions on-road
* Provide high-quality patient care and treatment during on-road transport
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients and stakeholders
* Assess the effectiveness of any intervention in accordance with established guidelines and regulations
* Work independently and problem-solve within established policies and procedures
* Collaborate with other team members
* Maintain an understanding of our organisation's policies and procedures and relevant regulations
This role offers a competitive hourly rate based on experience, plus casual loading and additional benefits. For registered nurses, the base rate is $38.43/hr, plus casual loading and additional benefits.
Qualifications and Experience Required
* Diploma of Paramedical Science (Ambulance), or Bachelor of Health Science (Paramedic), or equivalent qualification recognised by the relevant authorities
* Evidence of successful completion of required clinical placements and a clinical skills assessment
* Operational stretcher experience under direct supervision of a clinical instructor
* Successful completion of a clinical skills assessment, such as stage 8
* Registered nurse in the Nursing and Midwifery Board Australia and who has completed an appropriate bridging course for practice in the non-emergency patient transport sector
* Experience working in the non-emergency patient transport sector in an equal role desirable but not essential
* Full Victorian driver's licence and ability to drive in both city and country traffic conditions
* Availability to work across a 7-day roster
* Recognition of prior ATA service with other ambulance providers to ensure fair compensation for knowledge and skills contributed to the team
