Project Quantity Surveyor – Civil Engineering

With a significant pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint a Project Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team in Perth. The Opportunity
You will play a key role in the commercial management of civil engineering projects, supporting delivery from pre‐construction through to final account.
Projects typically include:
* Infrastructure and groundworks
* Roads and highways
* Utilities and drainage
* Large‐scale civil engineering schemes
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the commercial management of projects from tender through to completion
* Prepare cost forecasts, budgets, and reports
* Manage subcontractor procurement, payments, and variations
* Support the administration of contracts (NEC experience preferred)
* Monitor project costs and identify risks and opportunities
* Assist with valuations, change control, and final accounts
* Ensure compliance with company procedures and commercial best practice
* Build strong working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
About You
* Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering or infrastructure projects
* Working knowledge of NEC contracts is essential
* Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
* Good communication and organisational skills
* Ability to manage workload and prioritise effectively
* A proactive and team‐oriented approach
Requirements
* Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
* Previous experience in a similar role within civil engineering (2.5 years of experience minimum)
* Full UK driving licence
