Job Overview
This is an Australia-wide data collection survey that seeks volunteers to conduct Bicycle Network's Super Counts – the country's longest‐running commuter and recreational active transport data collection study. Volunteers will help gather information that councils use to improve bike riding conditions for everyone in the local area.
Responsibilities
Provide a count sheet and survey instructions and choose a suitable location in your area. Over a 3‐hour period you will count bikes and record data accurately for the survey.
Location and Availability
Volunteers can work at any participating council area across Australia. You will select a location that suits you and record the data during the specified dates.
Commitment
One‐off event.
Time Required
3‐hour survey period on the following dates:
* First Tuesday of March (WA, SA, TAS, VIC, NT, NSW)
* Last Tuesday in July (Northern NT)
* First Tuesday of September (QLD)
* Second Sunday of November (Australia-wide)
Training
In‐house instructions will be provided.
