Our client URGENTLY requires a Project Support Officer for a 12 months + Contract in Nerang.
The Project Support Officer will utilise a broad range of computer software programs and information management systems and databases to provide high level support services to project managers and/or team members which enhance the timely and effective delivery of project/s, ensuring compliance with appropriate legislation, organisational policies and procedures.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide high level administrative support to project managers and team members, including coordinating team meetings, taking and distributing minutes, preparing documents and reports, establishing and maintaining spreadsheets and registers and providing timely information, updates and presentations as required.
- Project support for financial approval documentation, contract administration systems and procurement related activities. Including preparation of procurement documentation, liaising with external parties and assisting with tender processes in alignment with the departmental procurement business and governance framework.
- Ensure infrastructure project documentation is accurately compiled, tracked and recorded, and follows up to ensure timely delivery and approvals within set timeframes.
- Ensure operational practices and standards of service and performance comply with departmental and regional policies, legislation (incl. WH&S;), and governance obligations.
