About the Role: Are you ready to lead and make an impact in the mining industry? We are on the hunt for a dynamic and experienced Exploration Supervisor to take charge of our FMG exploration operations on an 8:6 OR 2:1 roster FIFO from Perth. This is your chance to drive success, lead a high‐performing team, and work in some of the most remote and exciting locations. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be at the forefront of ensuring safety, efficiency, and operational excellence!
Duties / Responsibilities
* Lead and inspire a skilled Production Crew to achieve peak performance.
* Oversee and manage daily exploration activities, ensuring top‐tier safety and compliance.
* Play a crucial role in Exploration operations and optimise earthmoving equipment usage.
* Ensure full compliance with the Mine Safety and Inspection Act & Regulations.
* Conduct risk assessments, problem‐solving, and incident investigations to drive continuous improvement.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders to exceed project and client expectations.
* Champion a strong safety culture and drive operational excellence.
What You Bring:
* 5+ years of experience in mining operations with extensive equipment operations expertise.
* 2+ years of Front Line Supervisor experience in mining specifically exploration.
* In-depth knowledge of Exploration techniques and best practices.
* Ability to interpret and apply the Mine Safety and Inspection Act & Regulations.
* Strong understanding of earthmoving equipment and operational efficiencies.
* S26 qualified (or willing to obtain).
