About the role
Lead and manage the multidisciplinary Rehabilitation Unit as a senior clinician, delivering high‐quality, patient‐centred care while ensuring the service meets national standards and professional best practice.
* Drive quality, safety and risk management across the unit, including incident analysis, clinical governance, audits, complaints investigation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Provide strong clinical and operational leadership to the nursing team, overseeing day‐to‐day service delivery, resource management, policy development, and evidence‐based practice.
* Foster a culture of learning, research and professional development by mentoring staff, promoting education, and implementing contemporary nursing knowledge and innovative care models.
About you
You are a currently registered nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and hold a valid annual practising certificate. Post‐graduate qualifications in Rehabilitation, Aged Care, leadership and/or management are highly regarded.
* You bring high‐level clinical knowledge and experience in contemporary nursing practice, with a strong track record of delivering protected, quality‐focused care and applying risk management and quality improvement frameworks.
* You are a confident and capable nursing leader with proven ability to manage a multidisciplinary team, effectively handle human, financial and material resources, and successfully lead day‐to‐day unit operations and budgets in a complex healthcare environment.
* You possess excellent communication, interpersonal and problem‐solving skills, with the ability to navigate competing priorities, lead and motivate a positive, high‐performing team culture and develop strong relationships with staff, patients and stakeholders.
What we offer
Total remuneration value of up to $173,368 p.a. is comprised of:
* An hourly rate between $70.58 – $76.63 p.h.
* 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
* 17.5% leave loading
