The Role
We are seeking a highly driven institutional client coverage professional to work across our public market fixed income and credit business. This person will help drive commercial impact for our franchise in partnership with our product and sales teams around the world.
Job Responsibilities
* Uncover new business opportunities for our franchise through the distribution of our public fixed income and credit market capabilities to key client accounts.
* Manage key client accounts and provide exceptional client service for a broad range of mandates across various asset classes including fixed income and multi-asset investments.
* Coordinate local and global client pitches, product presentations, and requests for proposals (RFPs) to develop a pipeline of new business opportunities.
* Collaborate closely with internal stakeholder groups including Portfolio Managers, Product Managers, Legal, Technology, Operations and Compliance, with a common goal of providing the best possible experience for our clients.
* Contribute toward the strategic development and execution of the Australia/NewZealand Client Business plan, including assisting with competitor analysis and market research.
Basic Qualifications
* 5 - 10 years' experience in distribution / investor relations, asset management, or investment consulting with a focus on public credit and fixed income.
* Deep understanding of the asset management business and fixed income and public credit markets specifically.
* Broad knowledge of the Australian asset management landscape.
* A real interest in the financial markets and wealth creation.
