An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated Registered Nurse to join a dynamic, high-performing multidisciplinary Acute Surgical unit.

Employment Type: Temporary Full Time until 1 May 2026 (with possibility of ongoing employment)

Position Classification: Registered Nurse

Remuneration: $1,424.30 - $1,999.60 per week

Hours Per Week: 38

Where you'll be working: Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital, Ward 3A, a 20 Bed Orthopaedics/Urology/ENT unit with the capacity to surge up to 28 Beds depending on demand. The unit boasts teamwork and continuous career development opportunities.

What you’ll be doing: As a Registered Nurse, you will be coordinating and delivering high-quality nursing care to surgical patients. This challenging and rewarding role is supported by a structured pathway developed by our Clinical Nurse Educator.

Candidates Will Need To Meet The Following Criteria:

- Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them.
- Registered Nurse – Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Current clinical knowledge and clinical problem solving ability.
- A commitment to excellence in nursing practice and continuing professional development.
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- An understanding of the professional, ethical and legal requirements of the Registered Nurse.
