Responsibilities
- Coordinate projects and assist production to ensure that all jobs are completed safely and ‘Quality on Time’.
- Create job forecasts.
- Monitor job progress and provide feedback to the production team, including safety observations and promoting a positive safety culture.
- Provide leadership and direction to coordinate task completion.
- Monitor the use of materials, equipment & consumables to minimise waste.
- Identify & provide corrective action solutions for any substandard work.
- Liaising with clients to achieve project objectives.
- Collate all quality documentation into MDR’s.
- Generate inspection and test plans.
- Conduct inspections of projects.
- Submit ITP, WPS, WQR and registers to the client.
- Compile all work packs for production accurately.
- Oversee that works carried out in the most productive methods & techniques of fabrication.
- Willingness to assist with other duties as required in line with operational needs.
- Attend project tender reviews and handovers to provide input as required.
- Ensure all project data is entered into the relevant system
About you
- Ability to interpret steel fabrication drawings and symbols.
- Thorough understanding of design drawings.
- Excellent negotiation and customer service skills.
- The ability to work flexibly and assist with achieving company goals.
- Self-motivated
- Sound computer skills.
- Encourage a culture of continuous improvement.
Highly desirable
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a Project Coordinator role
- Trade Qualifications
- Business Craft software experience
