Overview
Business Development Manager (Rotating Equipment; Service Business) at Siemens Energy. Location: Tonsley Service Centre.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth for Tonsley Service Centre.
- Manage select accounts that are key to the success of Tonsley Service Centre.
- Collaborate with, and support, Client managers to secure repair opportunities for Tonsley Service Centre.
- Use interpersonal and analytical skills to continuously build customer knowledge and create opportunities in new markets.
- Enhance customer relationships and satisfaction with Siemens Energy.
- Develop and promote campaigns and strategies to drive sales.
- Collaborate with the team to develop repair proposals and present them to customers with a strong value proposition.
- Maintain timely market and competitive analysis.
What You Bring
- Bachelors Degree in Science/Engineering or a minimum of 5 years of technical experience in the energy industry; sales/business development experience is advantageous.
- Strong technical understanding of rotating equipment, with experience on steam turbines and compressors preferred.
- Ability to work independently and interact with all levels within customer organizations; strong analytical and strategic thinking with a focus on technical differentiation and value selling.
- Proven track record of profitable business growth.
- Good understanding of the oil & gas and industrial markets in Australia with extensive relationships across customer organizations.
- Customer-oriented, with strong customer interface skills.
- Demonstrable evidence of successful projects or service business execution and contract negotiation.
- Team player who can influence and collaborate with multiple external and internal stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel.
