About The Role
We're seeking an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Manager to support the Engineering Services Manager with the successful delivery of all required EI&C project deliverables across Coogee.
In this key leadership role, you'll lead a multidisciplinary team of seven EI&C professionals (Engineers, Designers, Supervisors, Control Systems Engineering and E&I Drafting), providing technical oversight and direction whilst ensuring safe, compliant and high‐quality delivery according to scope, schedule and budget.
You will also play a hands‐on role where required – supporting engineering design, technical reviews, problem‐solving and site support – while driving improvements to standards, processes and project delivery practices.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the team of E&I professionals to successfully deliver the EI&C aspects of site projects
* Develop project plans, manage budgets and ensure project deliverables are met on time and to a high standard
* Liaise with stakeholders, contractors and internal teams to coordinate project activities
* Prepare technical documentation, specifications, drawings and reports
* Provide technical support and problem‐solving during project execution
* Ensure projects adhere to all relevant regulations, standards and safety requirements
The Successful Candidate Will Have
* A tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
* A minimum 10 years' experience as an Electrical or Instrumentation Engineer in the chemicals, resources or manufacturing industries
* Ability to lead a multidisciplinary team of EI&C professionals
* Project management skills with the ability to deliver complex engineering projects
* Strong technical knowledge of electrical, instrumentation and control systems
* Excellent problem‐solving and analytical skills
* Familiarity with relevant Australian and International electrical and instrumentation standards
* Strong communication skills (numeric, written and verbal)
