Job Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Test Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of test results.
* Prepare and validate train setups to ensure tests conditions and environment are ready on time (loads, life on board, instrumentation)
* Implement, verify (functional), and ensure compliance (calibration) of measuring equipment in time for testing
* Leadership in preparing and executing test activities at train level
* Development and validation of test tools and measuring equipment
* Implementation of EHS rules, including LockOut TagOut procedures
* Real-time analysis of test results and decision-making on test validity
* Writing comprehensive static and dynamic test reports
* Ensuring test readiness through configuration validation and prerequisite check
You will work closely with the Validation Manager to ensure that all test activities are completed efficiently and effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A Grade Electrical Licence
* Experience or understanding of rail systems, including testing or validation of rolling stock and its subsystems
* Familiarity with EHS rules and LockOut-TagOut procedures
* Experience with diesel engine will be a plus
