Data Scientist - AI and Data - Technology Consulting
As a Consultant Data Scientist, you will transform raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. Your experience in advanced analytical algorithms will uncover valuable insights and your contributions will deliver significant value to the business, empowering teams to make informed decisions and maintaining a competitive edge.
This role can be performed from any EY office across Australia and can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, evaluate and optimize learning processes to continuously improve high-performance models
- Develop predictive models and leverage big data technology to design solutions that deliver value to the business
- Work with other data and analytics professionals and teams to optimize, refine and industrialize analysis into analytics solutions
Skills and Attributes for Success
- Fluency in at least one of the following programming languages: R, Python or Scala
- Intermediate understanding of principles, methods, processes and standards of deep learning, machine learning, database wrangling and data visualisation
- Ability to design and construct new processes for modelling data
- Foundational understanding of data mining tools, technologies, methods and techniques applied to big data streams and the dynamic characteristics of big data
- Knowledge of software, tools and methodologies required to deploy, integrate and scale machine learning models to meet business requirements
- Leads by example and models behaviours that support a culture of safety, health and wellness
- Excellent communication skills, and the ability to communicate with impact

Salary Range
The salary range for this role is AUD 78,000 to 110,000 inclusive of superannuation, dependent on skills, experience and work location.
