Fortescue's Eliwana mine is located on the traditional lands of the Puutu Kunti Kurrama people.
Roster
7 dayshift, 7 R&R (dayshift only) FIFO ex Perth & Busselton.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with preventative and reactive plumbing maintenance
* Diagnosing, repair and installation of commercial, domestic and industrial plumbing systems
* Scheduled maintenance and breakdown fault finding on a wide range of infrastructure equipment
* Liaise with the planning team to ensure planned maintenance schedule is implemented successfully
* Ensuring that water entering plant is treated to meet regulatory standards
* Regulate water flow through stages of treatment
* Using proper methods to treat water, monitor plant for unclean water, and correct any problems as soon as possible
* Ensuring the proper execution of water treatment processes while complying with all safety requirements
Qualifications & Experience
* WA Plumbing Tradesperson Licence along with a Gas Fitting and Installation ticket
* Experience in the operation and maintenance of Potable and Waste Water Systems (desirable) Plumbers contractor's license
* Experience operating a treatment plant
* Certificate III in Water Industry Operations or relevant experience
* Demonstrated experience with SCADA including the ability to analyse trends
* Knowledge about water treatment process, chemicals, filtration, and other aspects of water treatment.
* Operator must have the ability to read and understand water treatment plant schematics, manuals, and other documents in order to carry out daily tasks
* Minimum WA C Class Driver's Licence
* Extensive maintenance & fault finding experience essential
