The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Advisor to join our team in Port Adelaide. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with senior leaders to deliver people strategies that align with business goals, support organisational capability, and foster a high-performance culture. This position offers the chance to make a real impact in a fast-paced, project-driven environment while supporting our diverse workforce.
Key Responsibilities
* Partner with the business to implement HR strategies aligned with operational needs.
* Provide expert advice on industrial relations, employee relations, organisational design and workforce planning.
* Lead talent acquisition for "white-collar" roles to secure and grow specialist skills. Drive retention and development strategies.
* Drive employee review processes, organisational development, leadership capability, and employee engagement initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with employment law, WHS legislation and industry standards.
* Utilise HR metrics and analytics to guide decision‑making and continuous improvement.
* Manage employment contracts, remuneration reviews and immigration/visa applications.
About You
* A Diploma of HR with 5+ years in a generalist HR role.
* Strong knowledge of Fair Work NES, industrial relations and contemporary HR practices.
* Demonstrated experience managing complex ER/IR matters and workplace investigations.
* Proven ability to partner with leaders in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment, preferably in a project‑driven or construction‑related industry.
* Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.
* Experience with HRIS (ideally ELMO), Microsoft 365 and recruitment platforms (SEEK, LinkedIn).
* A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with the ability to pivot quickly and adapt or switch between tasks easily.
