At UGL, our Utilities business leads Australia's energy transition by delivering end‐to‐end design, construction and operation services for critical infrastructure in the power sector.
Responsibilities
* Plan, lead and control construction activities to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget and to required quality standards.
* Coordinate resources and teams to ensure sufficient labour, plant and subcontractors while monitoring progress and performance.
* Integrate project functions by collaborating closely with engineering, procurement, logistics, quality and document control to support efficient construction delivery.
* Ensure safety, environmental and regulatory compliance by enforcing HSSE standards, workplace laws, environmental licence conditions and record‐keeping requirements.
* Manage stakeholder relationships by liaising with clients, supporting employee relations, maintaining project data and completing ad‐hoc tasks as required.
Qualifications
* Extensive Construction Management experience within the utilities infrastructure sector, specifically on brownfield substation environments.
* Strong understanding of construction principles for foundations, structures and access tracks.
* High level of business and commercial acumen with the ability to create, read and interpret budgets, financial statements and analyse variance reports.
* Tertiary Engineering qualification or relevant industry trade background desired.
