Salary: HSW Level 5 $43.82 to $44.47 per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading)

Position Profile

An opportunity exists for a Cook to joinWACHS Great Southern, responsible for preparing and cooking mealsacross the Plantagenet Cranbrook Health Service in accordance withDepartment of Health requirements and applicable food safetystandards and regulations. The role requires a strong commitment toorganisational values, safety, quality improvement and adherence tothe Code of Conduct, ensuring all duties are performed in line withrelevant policies, procedures, standards and legislativerequirements, including confidentiality and work health andsafety.

Eligibility to Apply

To be eligible for appointment, applicants musthave a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be anAustralian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live andwork indefinitely in Australia (for permanentappointments).

Whilst thisselection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy,it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughoutthe health service. In addition to this, should the successfulapplicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the nextmost suitable applicant may also be selected from this process.Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12)months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitmentdecision.
