Workplace Health & Safety Advisor
About the Role
This exciting opportunity involves providing advice and mentoring regarding proactive safety management, conducting safety audits, maintaining the CPS Group's Work Health and Safety Risk Register, supporting managers on WHS risk management principles, reviewing worker incident reports, analysing hazard and incident data, developing safety strategies, and coordinating the implementation of safety systems and training across a range of service settings.

To Be Successful
* Relevant diploma or tertiary level safety qualification and/or 5 years' experience in a workplace health and safety role.
* Experience in the health or human service sector is highly regarded.
* Working knowledge of RiskMan (risk management system) is desirable.
* WHS Rehabilitation and Return to Work knowledge is desirable.
* Capacity to travel for audits and training across varied workplace environments.
* Current 'C' class driver's licence with regular vehicle access.
* Current First Aid and CPR qualifications are desirable.
* A Working with Children Check, Blue Card in Queensland, or a Working with Children Check in New South Wales.
* NDIS Worker Screening Check issued by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
