Overview
HP Trading Group Pty Ltd is looking for a talented FOH/Kitchen team for our brand-new beautiful venue Bistrol Sol, Holiday INN in Townsville Queensland.
The operations extend from Breakfast, lunch and dinner to weekend and functions.
Roles: Chef, Cook, Restaurant Manager, Administration officer, Barista, Water/Waitresses (Full Time, Part time & Casuals)
Responsibilities
* Chef, Cook – a minimum of 1-year full time of restaurant experience
* Prepare, cook and serve food in accordance with menus
* Ensure a high level of quality and presentation is achieved at all times
* Collaborate with owners in developing the menu and creating new recipes
* Provide a safe working environment in the kitchen and back of house areas
* Accept deliveries and check invoices, weight and dates of product
* Act in accordance with the Company\'s Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) Workplace, Health & Safety and Quality Assurance programs and guidelines
* Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner experience is a must. Pastry skills would be a plus.
FOH & Bar / Coffee
* FOH: Enthusiasm and passion to provide exceptional customer service
* COFFEE & BAR TENDING skills would be a plus
* Barista experience is preferred for coffee preparation and service
* Cocktail experience is preferred for beverage preparation and bar service
* Previous A La Carte restaurant/bar experience which includes tray service and handling large volumes of tables
* FOH positions require a minimum of 6-12 months of A La Carte restaurant experience
* Experience in POS ordering systems and cash handling
* A good understanding of wine, its service and recommendations to guests
* A current RSA
* Willingness to undergo our specified training program
* Flexible availability over a 7-day rotating roster, including nights, weekends and public holidays
