Budget and Financial Management Expert
Overview:
The Budget and Finance Officer is responsible for the development, delivery and review of financial management programs, projects and services that ensure accurate and timely reporting and analysis of financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Reporting:
* Develop and deliver financial management programs to ensure accurate and timely reporting and analysis of financial performance.
* Maintain efficient and effective financial systems and deliver accrual reporting and accounting services for executive and senior management teams and program directors.
Financial Analysis and Forecasting:
* Coordinate and undertake forecasting and budget monitoring across the agency.
* Investigate financial variations and resolve issues in compliance with SA Health and Treasury financial policies and procedures.
Collaboration and Communication:
* Partner with managers to assist with day-to-day budget and financial management activities.
* Provide expert advice and support to assist with financial decision-making.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Skills and Qualifications:
* Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
* Proven experience in financial management and planning.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
