Wulguru Railare seeking Electricians to join our Rollingstock Maintenance team on a full-time basis.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Maintain close working relationship with the Electrical Site Supervisor
* Install, connect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical components including wiring, conduits, panels, switches, light fixtures, circuits, switchboards, etc.
* Test systems for safety and continuity
* Document work activities and follow Supervisor's directions
* Ensure work meets industry standards and deadlines
* Rotating three week shift work which includes day shift, on call shift and afternoon shift
Experience & Attributes
* Current QLD Electricians Licence
* Additional certifications such as Senior First Aid, forklift, EWP, and White Card are desirable
* Strong knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations
* Written and verbal communication skills required
* Ability to read and understand electrical system schematics
