The Role
Join our esteemed educational institution as we seek a highly qualified classroom teacher to fill a four‐week fixed‐term, part‐time (0.7) position in our Maths Department, commencing 27 July 2026 at our Wheelers Hill Campus.
The ideal candidate will captivate and stimulate students through innovative learning technologies and forward‐thinking teaching practices. We seek an individual with high energy and enthusiasm, dedicated to creating dynamic and engaging learning environments. As part of our team, they will work collaboratively to achieve learning‐area goals, inspiring students and fostering their creativity and problem‐solving skills.
Key Duties
* Deliver learning programmes that demonstrate a research‐based knowledge of how students learn, including integrating formative practice and providing continuous feedback.
* Prepare instructional activities that facilitate engaging and appropriate learning opportunities for all.
* Provide a safe and supportive classroom culture.
* Contribute to our visible wellbeing programme to enable students to thrive and belong.
* Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviours.
Skills and Experience
* Genuine enthusiasm for teaching and commitment to students' academic and personal growth.
* Outstanding communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and parents.
* Committed to ongoing professional development, keeping up‐to‐date with current trends in Mathematics and maintaining a proactive attitude.
* Holds a Teaching Qualification with specialised qualifications in Mathematics and current VIT registration.
