About this Role
We currently have an opportunity for a Sports and Events Administration Officer to provide a high level of administration and event management support to Facility Leader in the operations of Gippsland Regional Indoor Sports Stadium (GRISS).
You will be required to:
* Manage and maintain event and facility bookings, support the delivery of daily events and ensure the facility is organised and set up for all bookings
* Prepare and provide requested documentation to support the effective management of events
* Provide support at event meetings and communication between stakeholders, including record management of all correspondence
* Contribute to the achievements of Latrobe City Councils strategic objectives and Latrobe Leisure business plans.
About You
For this position we are seeking someone who has experience in administration of large facilities and events and passion to provide exceptional customer service. You will also help foster a positive and professional image of the facility.
You will also need:
* Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with customers and stakeholders.
* Sound knowledge of computer software programs
* Demonstrated time management skills, including the ability to set priorities, plan and organise one's own workload.
