Pedlar Project is looking for a passionate and experienced Head Chef to lead the Kitchen team!
This is an exciting opportunity to take the reins in designing and implementing a dynamic, seasonal, customer-focused breakfast and lunch menu for our bustling café.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
• Leading, mentoring, and building a strong, cohesive kitchen team
• Designing a modern cafe brunch and lunch menu, continually bringing fresh ideas to the specials board
• Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction with consistent, high-quality products and timely service
• Following food safety standards and ensuring full compliance.
* Liasing with FOH team, managers and the owner in a professional manner.
• Managing food costings, ordering and stock control to maintain efficiency and minimize waste

About You:
• Proven experience in a similar role with leadership responsibilities
• Sound understanding of key business aspects including, but not limited to, wage %, COGS, Industry Awards (or a willingness to learn)
• Creative, passionate, and detail-oriented, while maintaining a commercially minded approach
