The Role
This is your opportunity to join our Food and Beverage team on full time basis. As a key member of our team you will represent our friendly and professional service philosophy.
Duties
* Explain the menu to guests, assisting those with special dietary needs or preferences as well as provide suitable assistance when recommending beverages;
* Welcome and seat guests according to hotel standards;
* Use POS system to place orders;
* Liaise with the Kitchen on special requests or delayed meals;
* Follow all hygienic processes to ensure safety for all guests & staff;
* Maintain standards of hygiene for food handling and presentation;
* Promote a safe workplace by recognising hazards and promoting general WHS practises.
Qualifications
What we are looking for
* Genuine interest for Food and Beverage
* An ability to ask the right questions and listen intently to gather enough information to solve problems, resolve complaints and create those Heartist Moments.
* A professional appearance and demeanour that will represent our brand well.
* Previous food & beverage experience desirable.
* Flexibility to work a rotating roster including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
* Hold a valid RSA.

Parental Leave
As staff member, you will receive 10 weeks paid parental leave at full salary for primary carer in addition to government-funded parental leave. Part-time and casual equivalent available on a pro-rata basis. In addition, Continuation of superannuation payments while on paid parental leave will remain.
