The opportunity:
Murdoch Children's Research Institute (MCRI) is seeking an enthusiastic and customer‐focused IT Technical Support Officer to join our Information Technology team. In this role, you'll provide frontline technical support to staff across the institute, helping ensure systems, devices and applications run smoothly to support critical research and operational activities.

What you'll do
* Provide first‐line support via phone, email and service desk requests
* Troubleshoot hardware, software and application issues
* Support Windows, Mac and Microsoft Office environments
* Set up and configure desktops, laptops, printers and mobile devices
* Escalate complex technical issues where required
* Maintain accurate documentation and support records
* Assist with process improvements and user support resources
What you'll bring
* Previous experience in an IT support or service desk environment
* Knowledge of PC and Mac hardware and operating systems
* Experience supporting Microsoft Office and desktop applications
* Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Strong organisational and documentation abilities
