About the Role
Silverstone is looking to recruit a qualified and safety‐focused NPI Electrician to join our mining client's team. This role will support electrical installation, testing, maintenance and commissioning across a range of non‐process facilities including accommodation villages, offices, workshops, site utilities and services infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintenance of all non‐process infrastructure (UPS's, Fuel Farm's, VSD's ect.)
* Camp maintenance
* Installation of new buildings and equipment
* Assisting in fuel system maintenance as SME
* Scoping and planning of upcoming works
* Completing statutory testing across site
Requirements
* Electrical Trade Certificate
* Strong focus on safety, teamwork and quality workmanship
* High‐risk work licences (EWP, Working at Heights, etc.) are advantageous
* Current Drivers License
* Police Clearance
* Prior mining experience working on non‐process infrastructure & camp maintenance
* Familiarity with NPI infrastructure (village, water treatment, wastewater, fuel, pipelines etc.)
* Able to pass pre‐employment medicals and drug & alcohol screen
* Full Australian working rights
* Provide contactable references and meet pre‐employment medical and drug screen criteria prior to commencement
