As a Data Analytics Developer, you will play a key role in transforming data into actionable insights to support our retail business. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI visual reports, dashboards, and paginated reports. Your expertise in SQL, DAX, M Code, SSRS, Microsoft Fabric, and Excel will be essential in ensuring data quality and consistency. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications, optimizing the performance and usability of reports and dashboards. Additionally, you will document processes, provide training, and support end-users. This is a hands-on position where you will contribute to the report and insights delivery while working with large-scale data in a fast-paced, retail environment. Responsibilities Include: Develop and maintain Power BI visual and paginated reports, optimizing for performance and usability. Use SQL, DAX, and M Code for data extraction, transformation, and loading. Integrate and ensure quality of data from diverse sources. Build scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric. Leverage Fabric Notebooks (SQL, PySpark, Scala) for data transformation and analysis. Support data modelling, including Lakehouse medallion architecture and dimensional models. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions. Troubleshoot data and performance issues across reporting and pipeline environments. Work with on-prem SQL Server, SSIS, and SSAS for data transformation and reporting. Apply CI/CD practices via Azure DevOps and support production deployments. Document processes and provide training to end-users. Apply data governance using tools like Microsoft Purview. About You: Proficient in Power BI (visual, paginated reports), SQL, DAX (including complex measures), M Code, SSRS, and Microsoft Fabric. Strong expertise in Azure, data engineering, and dimensional modelling. Skilled in data modelling, ETL processes, and managing large datasets from multiple sources. Experience with data governance tools (e.g., MS Purview) and CI/CD practices (Azure DevOps). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; able to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven ability to deliver business-aligned reporting solutions in cross-functional teams. Background in data analytics, preferably within retail or IT. Degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or a related field preferred.
