Business Central Functional Consultant – Contract [Integrations]
I'm working with a national group that is looking for an experienced Business Central Functional Consultant to help stabilise and improve their integrations across head office and a large franchise network.
This is an initial 6‐month contract (strong view to extend), and they can move quickly for the right person.
The role
* Own the functional side of integrations between SAP and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (very important that strong experience around ERP/BC integration problem solving)
* Run workshops and meetings with head office and franchise stakeholders to understand current issues and processes
* Document requirements, map processes and design functional solutions for integration issues
* Work closely with technical teams, translating business requirements into clear specs for developers
* Support testing, troubleshooting and validation of fixes and enhancements
* Contribute to upcoming projects across a related appliance distribution business
What they're looking for
* Strong background as a Functional Consultant Business Central
* Hands‐on experience with system integrations (preferably SAP Business Central)
* Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills
* Ability to translate business needs into clear functional specifications for technical teams
* Comfortable working largely remote and autonomously on project deliverables
* Remote friendly – ideally based in VIC with access to Port Melbourne office; strong interstate candidates (e.g. QLD) also considered
