Job Title: Community Home Care Worker
This role is an opportunity to provide person-centred care and support to individuals in their homes, assisting with daily living and lifestyle requirements.
Key aspects of the job include:
* Providing domestic assistance such as light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
* Offering social support and transportation services including social activities, shopping and travelling to medical appointments
* Assisting customers with the use of aids including standing or walking frames and wheelchairs
* Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress
* Participating in staff meetings and attending training sessions as required
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be physically capable of performing the demands of the role and have a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support.
Requirements:
* Australian Federal Police Clearance
* Current CPR/First Aid Certificate
* NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Current Australian Driver's Licence
* Reliable, registered and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is required)
* Smartphone with internet access
