Job Title: Community Development Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Community Development professional to lead our community development strategy across Tasmania. This role will be central to how we engage with communities, build meaningful partnerships and create opportunities for economic and social participation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the implementation of our community development strategy across Tasmania.
* Support staff in delivering impactful community engagement activities.
* Build and maintain strong partnerships with government, community organisations, research bodies and private sector stakeholders.
* Design and deliver major projects and programs focused on community building, economic participation and social enterprise.
* Contribute to grant applications and tender submissions related to community development.
* Use your initiative to improve existing services and develop new, innovative programs.
What We're Looking For:
* Around Five years' experience in developing and implementing community development programs.
* Strong project management experience – including design, development, implementation and coordination.
* Knowledge of the social enterprise sector.
* Experience in the social or community housing industry (highly regarded).
* A proven ability to build strategic partnerships with external organisations.
* A deep commitment to the right of every person to quality housing and a sense of belonging.
* A current drivers licence.
