We're seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join a 6-week new construction project at the Elanora Water Treatment Plant. This role offers long hours, penalty rates, and the chance to contribute to critical water infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
* Install pumps, valves, and piping
* Fit motors and rotating machinery
* Assemble and align filtration systems
* Read and interpret drawings and P&IDs
* Assist with commissioning and testing activities
Qualifications/Experience Required
* Trade qualification – Mechanical Fitter or equivalent
* Confined Space ticket (mandatory)
* Working at Heights ticket (mandatory)
* Experience in water treatment or industrial construction preferred
* Ability to read and work from technical drawings
