Key Financial Leadership Role
The financial accountant will lead the management accounting function and ensure the delivery of accurate, timely, and insightful financial information to support informed decision-making across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the end-to-end delivery of accurate and timely monthly management financial reports.
* Evaluate all financial data to ensure it is properly recorded, reconciled, and aligned with industry standards and internal policies.
* Prepare in-depth monthly management commentary and performance insights for presentation to senior executives.
Strategic Business Support
Collaborate with leaders across the business to analyze performance, identify trends, and recommend strategic actions for improvement. Provide commercial insights into margin performance, cost structures, and profitability across multiple sales channels.
Payroll Administration & Compliance
Oversee the accurate and timely processing of payroll in partnership with an external provider. Ensure compliance with all payroll-related legislation including PAYG, superannuation, and award obligations. Conduct thorough payroll reconciliations and ensure accurate posting to the general ledger. Support the integration of payroll data into financial reporting and forecasting while maintaining confidentiality and upholding data privacy standards.
