Employment Support Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking an Employment Support Specialist to join our team and deliver highly individualised employment supports to National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants.
* Provide hands-on and highly consultative support to a small group of participants.
* Offer mentorship, encourage skills development and increase people's capacity for work.
* Deliver person-centred supports to participants, some transitioning from school to work.
* Provide on-site support once employment has commenced and assist with integration.
* Support and consult with employers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement individualised employment plans.
* Build relationships with participants, employers and other stakeholders.
* Monitor and evaluate participant progress.
* Identify and address barriers to employment.
Requirements:
* Eligibility to work in Australia.
* A current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle.
* Current First Aid and CPR certification.
* Willingness to undergo a Criminal History Check.
* Able to obtain a Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
* Able to successfully complete a NDIS Worker Orientation Module prior to commencement.
