About the Role
We are seeking motivated Drill Support Personnel to join our growing team at the Mt Holland Project, supporting one of Australias premier lithium developments. This role serves as a pathway to a Trainee Blast Hole Driller position, offering hands-on exposure to drill operations, equipment, and site processes. You will support drill teams with day-to-day activities while developing the skills needed to progress into a drilling role. This position is ideally suited to candidates with a shotfirer or blast crew background, or to those with experience operating watercarts or mobile plant who are looking to transition into drilling.
Your Focus in this Role
* Provide day-to-day support to drill crews to ensure efficient operations
* Assist with drill set-up, pack-up, and housekeeping around the rigs
* Operate support equipment, including watercarts, where required
* Maintain work areas and ensure compliance with site procedures
* Assist in recording basic operational and production data
* Work closely with drillers and supervisors to learn drilling processes
* Maintain a strong commitment to safety and look out for your team
What Youll Bring
* Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and progress
* Interest in building a career in drilling or mining operations
* Experience operating a water cart (highly regarded)
* Background as a shotfirer or blast crew (advantageous)
* Ability to work in remote environments on a FIFO roster
* Positive attitude and strong communication skills
* Ability to work in hot, physically demanding conditions
* Current and valid WA HR Drivers Licence (essential)
* Current National Police Clearance (within 6 months) or willingness to obtain
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screening
Highly regarded but not essential
* Previous experience in mining, civil, or heavy industry
* Exposure to drill rigs, machinery, or mechanical work
* DGSC (or willingness to obtain)
