Temporary 12-month Development Officer (Seniority: Mid-Senior, Employment: Full-time) – 113,****** AUD per annum + super, leave loading.
Location: Preferred location is Parkes, NSW; applicants from regional NSW are welcome.
About The Role
The Development Officer will assist in the management, implementation and monitoring of projects within the Parkes Special Activation Precinct.
Key responsibilities include preparing documentation, researching and gathering information for land, property and development projects, supporting contract management and procurement, and engaging stakeholders with reports and briefing notes.
Key Accountabilities
Provide support in preparing documentation and reporting for land and property projects, including contributing to development strategies, project plans, commercial strategies and agreements.
Assist with implementing land development requirements such as land acquisition, assembly, sale or leasing.
Support contract management and procurement activities.
Conduct research and analysis to support project development.
Engage and prepare documentation for key stakeholders, including reports and briefing notes.
About You
Demonstrated experience and commercial acumen in the planning and delivery of commercial transactions, property and land developments and program delivery.
Experience in preparation and management of development concepts and strategies, feasibility studies, budgets and programmes, sales contracts, leases and marketing strategies.
Experience in the development and implementation of programmes and procurement of services.
Strong research and analytical skills to support key projects and programmes.
Ability to provide timely, accurate advice and support.
Collaborates in cross-functional teams and manages internal and external partners.
Builds relationships with senior stakeholders.
Essential Requirements
Degree in real estate, land economics, business, planning, engineering or a related field, and/or relevant industry experience.
