Speech Therapist Wanted
This role involves working directly with children to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders. Key responsibilities include expertise in speech therapy and related assessments and interventions, addressing dysphagia and treating swallowing-related disorders, and experience working with communication disorders including stuttering, voice, and fluency challenges.
Key Responsibilities
* Expertise in Speech Therapy and Speech-related assessments and interventions
* Proficiency in addressing Dysphagia and treating swallowing-related disorders
* Experience working with Communication Disorders, including stuttering, voice, and fluency challenges
* Knowledge of diagnosing and managing Language Disorders in paediatric populations
* Interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams
* Relevant qualifications in Speech Pathology and registration with a recognised professional board
* Experience working with children, particularly within the context of neurological or developmental challenges
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice
Work Environment
This role will be based at a soon-to-be-opened children's therapy centre in Windsor Downs, NSW. As a member of the multidisciplinary team, you will have opportunities to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality services to children and their families.
