We're on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our leadership team at La Piazza. This is your chance to take the next step in your career—leading from the floor, inspiring your team, and helping shape the culture of a fast‐paced, high‐performing venue.
Working closely with the Restaurant Manager, you'll play a key role in driving service excellence, elevating the guest experience, and ensuring La Piazza operates at its very best.
What you'll be doing:
* Lead from the front – energise, motivate, and inspire your team to deliver their best every shift
* Run the floor with confidence in a fast‐paced, high‐volume environment
* Set the benchmark for service excellence, compliance, and operational standards
* Own the guest journey – from bookings and functions to seamless service delivery
* Create memorable experiences through exceptional food and beverage service
* Champion safety and compliance, ensuring a secure environment for both team and guests
* Build smart, effective rosters to support business needs and team wellbeing
* Collaborate across teams, ensuring strong communication between front and back of house
* Drive performance by supporting financial and commercial outcomes
* Step up and take ownership, leading the venue whenever needed
About You:
* 2–3 years' experience in a similar leadership role
* Thrive in a fast‐paced, high‐volume hospitality environment
* A hands‐on leader who is present, proactive, and floor‐focused
* Strong food and beverage knowledge, including bar operations
* A natural people person who builds strong relationships with both team and guests
* Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and peak periods
* Current RSA & RCG (or willingness to obtain)
