Specialist in Emergency Medicine – Northern NSW, NSW
Location: Northern NSW, NSW. Temporary role.
Salary: AUD 3,000 per day (equivalent to AUD 3,000 per month).
Shift details:
* 23/05/2026 13:00 to 24/05/2026 23:00 – $3,000 per day
* 27/05/2026 13:00 to 31/05/2026 23:00 – $3,000 per day
* 04/06/2026 07:00 to 08/06/2026 17:00 – $3,000 per day
* 11/06/2026 07:00 to 14/06/2026 17:00 – $3,000 per day
* 16/06/2026 07:00 to 21/06/2026 17:00 – $3,000 per day
Responsibilities
* The hospital is a major trauma referral centre with 20 emergency beds.
* Staffing levels for each shift: 7 staff on 08:00‐18:30 & 13:00‐23:00; 1 night in‐charge Registrar 22:30‐08:30; 2 staff (SRMO & RMO) on 22:30‐08:30. Specialists are required on each day and evening shift, working 10‐hour shifts. A specialist is always on‐call overnight and will cover the ED if any issues or traumas arise.
